Hi there. I'm a fellow class mate and I have a question for you - did you have to go through a hierarchy to see if you could start this blog for the library? how did that process work and how long did it take?

My Director and I have been discussing about having a blog for the library. I work for a medium sized public library, with a population a little over 28,000. If you look at our website at www.agawamlibrary.org you will see we provide information that would be seen in a blog through RSS feeds, our newsletter, and our homepage that changes monthly. I had taken a course on blogging through the Western Mass Regional Library System, but we couldn't get the blog working because of technical difficulties. But, it did give me some ideas once I could get a blog running. Right now this blog is for use only for this course, but I hope at the end of this course to use this blog to share the thoughts of our book club, to sharing staff's favorite reads. That will take some more time to implement. I hope I have answered your question.
